New Member Looking For 'Fedumbit'

Among the members of McDonnell of Glegarry's Regiment who surrendered on 15 May 1746 were four Scotts. Of these, Donal Scott is shown* as being from 'Fedumbit' a place name that I am unable to locate. Any assistance would be most welcome.
