I am trying to find a photo of Hector Gunn Mackay who emigrated to Moosejaw . He died in 1936 . His wife Rhoda died in 1983.
I have obituaries from local newspapers but can’t seem to find a photo anywhere.

Re: Malinzina Bruce born 1802
Thanks so much for reply Andrew. Malinzina was the first female to be born. A brother William before her. Definitely food for thought!
I have no experience or knowledge of Irish records - do you have any suggestions where I should look first?

Re: John White and Matilda Burleigh

The multiple occupations threw me a bit - nothing surprises me but these did.
Cheers!

John White and Matilda Burleigh
I am trying to place this couple and confirm that I have the right ones but getting in a muddle as John seems to have had occupations ranging from commercial traveller, missionary, coal miner, fireman - I am not sure if I have the right John White. John married Matilda Burleigh in Carriden Linlithgo...

Re: Scotlands People
Im slowly trying to get used to the new site - I like the idea of free searching of indexes. One thing I miss is being able to put approx year of birth in when searching for births or deaths - I seem to have to trawl through quite a few pages sometimes (thankfully free) or am I missing that part?
