Email notifications

One of the admin members has been having the same problem and thought it was due to a hotmail account, but we see now that it is happening to people with all sorts of email accounts... so back to the drawing board. Sorry folks, we'll eventually get this sorted (I hope!) It would help if we had some idea of why this was happening.

My email address on TS is correct. My user name appears in the ‘Confirm email address’ box in the Accounts Settings of my Profile. Is that normal?

I have nothing in that box. My username appears in the top box and then the email address in the next and all the other boxes are empty.

the last email I had from TS was 6th July, if that helps pin-point any thing?

I hadn't really noticed earlier, as I was only holiday after that date and TS was pretty quiet for a bit.

TS is added as a contact on my email prog so they shouldn't be getting deleted as Spam.
My email/internet provider is Talktalk.

Hello Sarah,

It looks like Firefox is putting my user name in the confirm email box and the dots for my password in the new password box. They go away if I delete the password in Firefox but it didn’t seem to make any difference as far as email notification is concerned.
