Hi Ina
Perhaps one of our other AG members will review and see if they have a problem.
Worked Ok for me...wonder what caused the problem? Looks like it is not happening for everyone.

Best wishes
Lesley

On frame 51 (the last one) on my computer the 32 font for “Original concept by Drew Davidson” is too big for the text box and is forcing “Davidson” onto a second line which overlaps the text box for “Supplemented by TalkingScot Administration Group 2007”.

It should be fixable by reducing the font to 24 the same as the second text box or extending the length of the first text box so that there’s room for “Davidson” or simply moving the text boxes much further apart vertically. It depends on how you want it to look.

Maybe different views on different computers are something to do with monitor resolution or different versions of PP but you wouldn’t think so? I’m 1024x768 with PP 2002.

Hello Alan,

We'll take a look at reducing the font and see if that corrects the problem. Certainly we don't want Drew's name to be sliced in 1/2. Thank you for your suggestions.

Hello Marilyn,

I forgot to mention that I use Firefox as a browser and the presentation opens directly into PP rather than as with IE. I tried it using IE but the problem was the same.

All the best,
Alan

I have reduced the font size to 24 in that line on slide #51. Does it look okay in your viewer now?

That did the trick.

On my computer it looks great in both IE and Firefox.
(I had to clear my temp Internet files first).

Thanks Andrew.

Hello,
I've just recently joined.
I too cannot get the Powerpoint presentation at all. Am I doing something wrong? I looked for a PPP button, but presumed it was the line at the top which said TS Powerpoint Presentation. I've tried clicking and double-clicking this but the screen just flickered and kept the same display.

Hi John,

I will have to look and see if we still have a copy the Power Point presentation. It will probably need updating before it is fit to go back online. The online presentation will have disappeared when our previous web host disappeared without a trace in 2009.

All the best,

Sorry for the trouble Andrew. I hadn't checked how far back the last post was. It looked such an interesting tool for presenting raw data to others.
