Re: Working class clothing?
Hello Sarah,
I can’t remember ever having seen a PM pop-up, even though my settings allow them. I’ve just set Firefox to allow pop-ups from TS, but it doesn’t seem to have made any difference.
I don’t logon automatically, but when I do logon to post something, I can see, just under the TS graphic, that I have an unread message, but there’s no sign of a pop-up. It seems to be the same when I use IE.
I may try temporarily changing my TS email address and see if that makes any difference.
My settings, they are probably the default.

All the best,

Hi Alison,littlealison wrote:Sarah - I dragged the smiley - was that wrong? Can't copy them...Alison
If you just click on the smiley as you are writing the message, it will show up in your message at that point. Give it a try.
Alan, your settings look just like mine, aside from the time zone and DST. I use Safari, but I don't suppose that has anything to do with it. When I get a PM, fireworks go off in all directions, i.e. I get an email and then when I log in a pop-up appears. We seem to have moody and unpredictable software...
Are computers on their way to becoming more human and less machine?
Best,
Sarah

Re: Working class clothing?
Just noticed this about alerts. I appear to be having the same problem. Are you all now receiving alerts? 'Notify me when a post is posted' is ticked at the bottom here.
thanks
