TalkingScot temporarily offline

Due to assistance offered many years ago by a Moderator through a personal email of theirs, I tried to see if Andrew was just doing house keeping, or there was a more serious issue with the site. But that yahoo account bounced straight back, so no luck there either.
Our (recently moved to) web hosts suffered a "DDOS attack", which put TalkingScot and many other websites and associated e-mail accounts offline for some hours in the evening of 12th March (UK time). Things seem to be back to normal now.

All the best,

Good Morning [Evening Andrew.]

I have called back again for a quick look and all is well, got straight in.

Thanks for the update. I've just made the [to me] gigantic leap from an 2003 XP and older programmes to MS Home and Business 2016, on a big new computer. Still struggling to find my way through a multitude of options, so many times the fault is at my end, and finish up waiting for daughter to get home to straighten me out. But that time it was not me, but the site provider I was trying to access.

TS remains a great little specialist site, to go to for assistance and sharing our accumulating knowledge,

Alan SHARP.
