As a new member just reading through the various messages, I noted that you say you change any email address from @ to AT.
I am reasonably active as a computer engineer and beta tester for Microsoft and it is acknowledged now that the modern forum reading bots are quite happy with AT, they recognise it and change it as appropriate to enable the email address again.
About the ONLY safe way of publishing an email address, is to include something that a human would recognise as superfluous.
For example, the word 'Mark' at the beginning and a note added to 'erase the mark'. Humans would be able to recognise it straight away, but most bots won't.
The alternative, is just to include a link instead, which re-directs to the members list, which you have to be logged in to be able to see anyway.

HTH,

Colin

Hi Colin,

Welcome to TalkingScot!

Thanks for updating us on this issue, it seems we need to come up with another way around these "bots" when posting an e-mail address.

Hi Wini,

Now I need to go back and check my topic notification. No need for concern, there's no war! Thanks for the chuckle....
