Hi,

I came across a reference to TalkingScot on the British Genealogy (B-G) Forum and joined yesterday.

Although I was born in Scotland and lived there until I was six, I have come to this forum because of my research into my husband's family.

I am currently living in Crete, Greece and so 'hands on' research is somewhat difficult. The internet is such a boon. Hopefully I will find pointers here for research that we can do 'in situ' when we come over next.

What I must do now is to dive into the Forum and start reading some of the posts.

I am sure I will be back soon with some queries and, hopefully, some successes.
Maggie
