Hi Lora

I have been trying for ages to contact you and very hope this reaches you. You may remember that I am interested in the McInnes families of Mortlach in that I descend from them twice over, firstly via your line of McInnes of Braehead through marriage with the Cantlies and thus to the Beatons, who descend from Margaret McInnes also of Mortlach.

It would be good to compare notes about your conclusions about howmtha families connect - I must say that when I first tried many years ago, I was bamboozled by the lack of definitive links and failed miserably! I have a website on which I have loaded my Beaton/Cantlie/ McInnes findings (as well as the Stuart/Kellas side).

Hoping to hear from you.

Richard Beaton
