Abraham Whitehall Born 1879 died 1941

Hi,

I know Abraham Whitehall had a son named Bernard Whitehall who was born in 1914 and died <after 1961>. He was married to Honoria Whitehall.

Could anyone tell me who Abraham Whitehall married and details of her date of birth and date of marriage and date of death. Where was she born, married and died

My husbands father was Bernard Whitehall.

The index at Free BMD shows his mother's name was Flowers. Abraham Whitehall married Sarah Ann Flowers in 1920 at Hemsworth.

Here they are in 1911 at Hemsworth where Bernard was born.-

Sarah Whitehall 29 born Castleford
Bella Whitehall 9
William Whitehall 6
Ethel Whitehall 4

It appears that Abraham's father was named Pharaoh Whitehall and his grandfather was Elijah Nothing like some unusual names to speed up the search! The family was in Staffordshire before coming to Yorkshire, West Riding.

- as the family appear to be based in England, you can view the 1881 census for free at the family search web site which will maybe be of use. Try a search for Abraham Whitehall born between 1878 - 1882 and you will find him as a small child with his parents and siblings.
