A couple of the good ones were Cairnknussie (in Aberdeenshire)...

Andrew, I was up at Lonmay and found Cairnknussie - it's a big ruined house but must have been something in it's time. I took some photos of it [ well hubby did as the gates were padlocked and I didn't have my wellies on ] The only thing is I now don't have the name or email of the chap who asked about it on SPDG in the first place
