Hi Malcolm,

Sometimes happens to me too, then I realize that I've put the parents names in the wrong place.

If you enter the region and the names of the couple where it says "First and Last Names" you get the marriage only, but if you go to the right where it asks for the Father and Mother's names that one brings up all the children (for me anyway). Hope this helps. By the way, this was one of the many tips I got from Talking Scot...from Andrew P, I think, so thanks Andrew!

Regards,

Anne H

Thanks Anne
It was me. I need an assistant.
Malcolm.
PS I think it was Andrew who initially told me too

LDS family search

Hi
I find the easiest way to avoid the page expires when searching on the IGI is when you return to the list of names, instead of clicking on the back button, just click on to the "Search results/download/pedigree" click search results and you will go straight back to the list of names
Seeking any descendents from Ezekiel McCulloch, Port Glasgow, also Neil Barr (Greenock)

Yes David, the reply was full of useful advice (I got my computer programmer husband to make sure I did it all properly!).... but it didn't help. I tried the LDS site earlier this evening, it's still the same.

Hello again everyone,

I received a thank you from LDS Support for passing along AlanMc's solution to the problem with the back button. They now have their engineers working on it and hope to get it fixed.

Thanks again AlanMc…we have a solution and they are finally working on the problem.

Regards,
Anne H

Hi folks,
They must be really working on the problem - the site's down!
Says - "No web site is configured at this address."
Jack
ps - hold that, it's working again; thank goodness! What would we do without FamilySearch!
pps - i've broken it again, maybe i'd best leave it alone for a wee while....
