Just got this email from the Genes team so no dinner for us U.K bunch on New Years Eve ! I dont know if you have to be a member to benefit, i am so maybe, but worth a try if you can get on it on the night.

New Year's Eve for FREE access to the records!

We would like to invite you to the Genes Reunited New Year's Eve
party! Between the hours of 6pm – 8pm on New Year's Eve, all of the
records will be absolutely free to view.

Come and try the fully indexed birth records, or search any one of our Census collections from 1841 to 1911 – See your ancestors' own hand writing in the
original 1911 household documents. Don't miss out, remember to set yourself
a reminder and join us for 2 hours of free records on New Year's Eve.
