Gale invites you to visit our National Library Week site beginning Sunday, April 10th, where you'll receive two weeks of FREE access to great Gale resources.

But don't give up entirely your local library can get this free trial plus a lot of libraries already have Gale online

National Library Week in Canada is in October, so perhaps you will only be able to access the database from those countries which are celebrating NPL this week.

It may be that the libraries are being given the opportunity to sign up, not individuals. http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases ... 03292.html

Although very costly, there are options for smaller libraries to access the Thompson-Gale services through regional, provincial or state orgnaizations or consortia. It is worth checking at your local public library to see if they already have access, or would be willing to take the trial offer.
