Valuation Rolls.....

Hi Everyone

Can anyone suggest where the valuation rolls will be held for Aberdeen City - I need to request a look-up for 81 Jute Street in 1904 - 05. The info on the rolls should tell me who owned the property and who the tenants (if any) were. It might also give me an indication if the property was a single dwelling or a tenament type. That address is currently for sale in Aberdeen but from the Estate Agents photo - it does not look as if it dates from any earlier than 1930's.

I think they are at NAS,

The NAS holds copies of all valuation rolls until 1989

but I guess there might also be duplicates somewhere nearer to Aberdeen as well?

The Local Studies Library in Aberdeen lists valuation rolls amongst its collection.
