Hi Haggis
Could this be your Northbank Farm - not sure where the Camerons come in to it!

Re: British Guyana - Alexander Bell Morrison / Charles Morrison
A few years (!) late but if you are still interested in Charles Morrison, he was an older brother of my grandfather Edward Morrison (1858-1933). Their father was Andrew Bell Morrison and his father was Alexander Morrison, Andrew Morrison owned Northbank farm or Feddinch, Edward owned Balmonth and Charles Bonnytown.
Charles and his second wife returned to Scotland with their three young children, they both died in 1897. The youngest, Elizabeth Geraldine died just short of her 100th birthday in 1998
I am not sure how to contact you but have only just joined so may not have the links.
I am keen to find out more about Charles's family and can give you more information
The contacts given in the posts have given me a lot more to do!

Hi gaudeamus,
A warm welcome to TalkingScot.
I see Haggis McBagpipe hasn't visited the site since last year but if you don't get a response to your post, you could try sending him/her a PM and hope his/her email address hasn't changed.
Good luck!

Hello there, Gaudeamus,
What a wonderful surprise to see this! You've added a whole other estate that I didn't know about (Balmonth), and how amazing to find out that the youngest of the children survived until 1998. Who inherited Bonnytown, any idea? I know (or rather, I'm pretty sure I know) that it is no longer owned by family.
This is very exciting, after I get some of my work caught up I'll PM you with more information and my email address.
My interest in genealogy had slipped (thus my absence from this board) because I've come to so many dead ends. This is stirring up the interest again, though, so thank you. Will be in touch soon.
Cheers!
Haggis

Greetings Haggis bagpipe
I haven't twigged how to PM you so please contact me and then we can exchange info
Balmonth was bought by Edward Morrison with a legacy from his mother's son by her first marriage.
Bonnytown must have been sold when Lizzie became 21 and I presume the money was shared between all surviving children, so your grandfather would have had some!
I'll try and find ut who owns it now.
