Carol thank you so much. No, I don't have a subscription to ancestry so all this is absolutely great. :D

The dentist is calling so must leave just shortly. Will get back to you once I figure out how to pm you.

Thanks again.

Christine.

Hi Christine

Just use the PM button to the right of one of Carol's posts. Its dead simple. Very useful f you want to exchange e-mail addresses or more personal info e.g. family nmes and dates which are outside our cut-off dates.

Hi Russell, I thought that was what I had to do but was going to check - I know I have seen the info on the forum.

Thank you for taking the time to keep me straight. :)

Regards Christine.

Christine,

How about Appleby School, Oakville, Ontario for Christina's address? Just did a search on Yahoo for the name. Looks like it is a private college now.

Carol :D

Edit: See if this link gets you to the Wikipedia info: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Appleby_College

Ooops, that's not working. Maybe if you go straight to Wikipedia and do a search? Or maybe someone who knows what they are doing can fix this link? Sorry!

Thanks Carol. I "Googled" it and found it. Founded in 1911 so 100 years old this year. Away to have a look through what it says. I would imagine Christina was a domestic there.
