Davidsons of Larkhall

Hello,

I wonder if anyone can help with this one. I am trying to find information on the family of James Davidson b @ 1787 in Larkhall and his wife Mary Brownlie b @ 1791 also in Larkhall.

According to LFHS Baptisms book they had 8 children. I am particularly interested in their sons James, b 1814 baptised Hamilton (as the minister was away), and John b 1819, baptised in Dalserf.

I found the family minus James in 1841 census living in Larkhall. I can't find them in any other census nor can I find deaths.

Any ideas?
