Margaret Hamilton or Lennox

Margaret Hamilton born Lennox was found guilty of murdering her sister-in-law Jean Hamilton at Strathaven and was executed at Glasgow on 31 January 1850. Her mother died shortly after her birth in 1826 and her father died in 1832 during a cholera epidemic. She was brought up by a religious uncle. From a newspaper report of her trial I found out that she was the second cousin to my great grandfather William Lennox of Galston, born 1818. I am unable to find her family or link to William Lennox.
