Pipe Major Andrew McAnsh, R.A.F.

I am compiling a list of Pipe Majors of military Pipes & Drums worldwide and am looking for information about Andrew McAnsh.
He was born in 1921 in Grangemouth, Scotland, and during WW2 was Pipe Major in the Royal Air Force. I would like to know when (year from-to) he was P/M and in which pipe band (squadron or RAF base).
In 1949 he emigrated to Saskatchewan, Canada where he died in 1978 in Regina.
