Hi to all,
I wonder if anyone can do a look up for me at the Barnhill Poorhouse the next time they are doing a search.
SarahND and AndrewP have been fantastic at tracing my gt gt grandmother's family. Her poor father ended his life at the Barnhill Poorhouse.
1871
Poorhouse, Lunatic Asylum, and Fever Hospital, Springburn, Glasgow. Lanarkshire
Daniel Mitchell, 67, Inmate, born Johnston, Renfrewshire, Cotton Spinner
He died there on 27/07/1876 - we wondered at the situation that brought him there.
Thanks,
Ailsa
Look up please

Dear Joette,
I wonder if you could do me a great favour when you are at the Mitchell. As well as looking up Daniel Mitchell could you also look up
1901 in the Barnhill Poorhouse:
Francis Passmore, 43, Inmate, born Con Leone, Ireland, Cooper
I am trying to find a connection to my irish Flannigans and SarahND has found the Passmores(who could be related to the Flannigans) always on the census with them. I am hoping there will be some clues to where they lived in Ireland.
I would be most grateful.
Thanks
