There's a jewel in this house
Her name is little Pearl
And it's going to break her daddy's heart
To part with his little girl

They say her mammie's coming
To take her what is but right
But she'll be leaving broken hearts
When she is out of sight

She has big blue eyes and curly hair
And she climbs just like a squirrel
But we think, none can compare
With our Little Pearl
