Hello Gary and ![TS welcome [TS_welcome]](./images/smilies/TS_welcome.png)
If you could tell us how you know about Rose, it might help us track her down. Was this the same James Divine in Hamilton from your other post? I'm just guessing that on his death certificate both of his wives were mentioned and that is where you found the name. Or is this another James?
Regards,
Sarah

Re: Devine/MULDOON
Hi again,
I am not sure what kind of information you will find on the Catholic baptisms on ScotlandsPeople (it will vary quite a bit between parishes), but there are quite a few d?vine children baptized in Hamilton with father James (I got 14 matches between 1841 and 1871). Four are for children with mother ros* and 6 with mother mary. Not sure who the others are… But it would be worth your while to download the whole list, since it will all fit on one page and only cost you 1 credit. Then you can decide which complete image to download and perhaps get some additional information-- keeping my fingers crossed!
Regards,
Sarah

Re: Devine/MULDOON
rose was married to my great x 3 grandfather and they must have married in Ireland at some point becasue we was then married again again in 1857 to mary mullen whom i think bore all his children on 4 that i no of john thomas mary and margaret so she must have died in ireland or they could have divorced im not to sure and yes on his death cert her name is mentioned as the first wife. he was 66 it says on his death certifacate but there is a debate now as i have found a story involving james DEvine which i have been told about by my great aunt just a few weeks ago he was born roughly 1820's-30's and i am guessing she was too.

Hi Gary
The burial records for Bent Cemetery, Hamilton, 1853-1949 show:
James Devine, age 66, date of burial 31 Oct 1891, 9 New Wynd, Hamilton
Mary Devine, age 59, date of burial 13 Nov 1893, 44 Church St, Hamilton
Mary Devine, age 29, date of burial 3 Jan 1900, Poorhouse Hamilton
Mary Devine, 26, date of burial 18 Dec 1916, 183 Whitehill Road
Mary Ann Devine, age 63, date of burial 3 March 1923, 18 Burnside Lane
Thomas Devine, age 64, date of burial 4 Nov 1940, 21A Limekilnburn Road, Hamilton
Might some of the above be your relations? There is no Bent Cemetery burial record for Rose Muldoon/Devine, so she must have been interred elsewhere.
Cheers,
Rodeo

Hi Gary
That would be Hamilton Old Parish Churchyard. MIs for that churchyard have been documented. You may wish to post a request for a look-up, assuming that there is a headstone -- and, if so, that it is still intact. From what I have seen, many are illegible and in various states of decay due to the ravages of time.
