burial grounds in the vicinity of Perth street Glasgow.....

hello
can anyone tell me the names of grave yards /burial places that would be or have been in the area of Perth street Glasgow ??the person i have decided to try and kick off my "final resting place"search died in Perth street in 1885 called samuel oliver.

Maggie, the nearest burial ground to Perth Street Anderston in Glasgow is no longer there :(

There was a church and cemetery under what is now the Northern approach to the Kingston bridge.

I'm racking my brains to remember it's name... I think it was Anderston U.P. church.

But although that may have been the nearest to where he died, where he was buried could depend on many things: where his other relations [ wife or children parents] were buried, where he grew up, what church he may have attended etc.

Others will be able to give advice on how to try to find out where he 'ended up'.
