Help with occupation 1861 census

Hi Annie,

On the 1871 census on Ancestry, there is a Joseph Brown, 37, born Laurencekirk, Kincardine. He's a mate on a vessel with a load of others and enumerated in Arbroath...could it be your Joseph?

Hi Anne,

I have seen this Joseph and followed him for a bit as the age was quite near, as I am guessing from the 1841 census, no OPR, but it's not the right one, I wish it was though

Mine was born and in Aberdeen.
