Just got my first record from 1851, already ](*,) are starting to crumble.

Caraid
Sutherland, Calder, Dunnet, Budge from Dunnet, Caithness
Anderson, Henderson, Hunter, Melrose, Denholm, McAdam from East Lothian
Mack from Coldingham
Walker mainly Leith
Ross, Banff to Edinburgh

And there was me, checking every hour or so, solomnly sworn to absolute secrecy from some days ago that today was going to be 1851 DAY !! :- 8-[ \:D/ ..................

Except, Ah-hem [-X , whaur's the warning about the 13,000 (check me on that total someone, please) "missing" images?, - missing in the sense that they have been withdrawn because of an unaccpetably low quality .......

Could you say if the "missing images" are confined to certain areas?
Or are they spread all over Scotland?

As far as I'm aware there is no geographical bias, but that's really a question for SoL and GROS ........

Yes, i suppose they could be anywhere,
fairly often have i come across near blank pages in amongst the perfectly legible.
