Oh another by the way, Cecil Keppie Bertram married William Sangster in 1874 they are still in Durham in 1881 with three children.

Helen married George Petchey in 1878

Elizabeth, I think, married William Clarke in 1879. can't find then in 1881
Searching for Keogh, Kelly, Fitzgerald, Riddell, Stewart, Wilson, McQuilkin, Lynch, Boyle, Cairney, Ross, King, McIlravey, McCurdy, Drennan and Woods (to name but a few).

Also looking for any information on Rathlin Island, County Antrim, Ireland.

There are LOADS of your very distant relations interested in the Keppie lines in Haddington. On a scan view of some information I found the provenance seems to be very accurate.

Some branches claim to have got back to the early 16th century, I'd be rechecking this info.

I am ordering isabella Bertrams marriage certificate and also John Bertrams (son) marriage certificate as soon as I receive them I will let you know all the details.

I want to thank you for your help and kindness, I would never in a million years have found the information so accurately or so quickly! I wish I had found this forum months ago as everyone is so kind and helpful. Thank you so much!

eek I think i might have a connection here. I thought Cecilia Keppie Bertram founded familiar - I have one marrying James Wilson 14/06/1899 in Hume. On her MC and DC she's just Cecilia Jane Bertram , but the IGI has her 1874 birth as Cecilia Keppie ... Parents (per MC and DC) William Bertram , farmer And Jane Brownlee Dodds (dec) . Could this William be your mystery girl's uncle ?
Cecilia died 1945 at Legars, Hume.
I'll hunt around for what I've got on this couple and PM it to you soon.
( They're not my direct ancestors - i am related to James Wilson via his mum who was a Pringle ) .
