Hi all - a bit more information from the MC of James Tuten and Janet Fulton. James' date of birth is listed as 27.9.1832 in Hamilton, and Janet born In Glasgow in October 1830. At date of marriage, he was living at 47 Young Street, Janet at 444 Gallowgate. James occupation given as a Carter, and his father, James (flesher) listed as deceased.

I was hoping James's address might help but it looks as though he may have been living with his employer William Leggat who was a horse dealer.

Hi - hm, very interesting, I suppose lodging with a horse dealer suits his occupation. Thanks.
