Thank you for this Maggie. My mum has recently said that Jonas, the son of Clara and Jona Holdsworth was the eldest but I have not been able to find him. The only entry I can find is in the 1901 census and he was 13 at the time and born in Cleckheaton. So I think my mum is a bit confused. Maybe you could please send me a copy of the entry you have found.

I understand from my mum that Eleaner (probably Elena) and her sister Lucy both married Scotsmen - it must be something in our genes!

on checking the birth certificate of Clara Holdsworth, daughter of Jonas and Ann (nee Hopper) the address given is 18 Croft Street, Horton, Bradford - born: 21/03/69/
