Hello Cathy,

can you give more details about "annexed" registers and what was stated by GROS?

Regards,

John

If the annexed register is what was referred to as a supplementary book in the old computer system in New Register House, then I would have hoped for the entry to appear on the ScotlandsPeople index, but probably come up with a "no image available" message. My belief is that these now come up on SP with an index entry with an X-suffix. The X-suffix in the index is also seen in New Register House, and I believe these entries have fairly recently had the images made available onscreen there. Hopefully SP will follow soon in having these images available.

All the best,

Andrew Paterson

Hi John,
sorry I can't remember the full details.
What I have just remembered is:
I found the entry on IGI, and had to send these details to GROS, who then sent me a copy.
