I addition to Wilma's list of hospitals above, I have the following hospitals on my Glasgow ancestors' death certificates.
- Woodilee Asylum, Lenzie - Registration District: Kirkintilloch, Dumbartonshire
Lightburn Hospital, Shettleston - Registration District: Shettleston
Stobhill Hospital (also listed as 1301 Govan Road) - Registration District: Govan (wrong, see below)
Maternity Hospital - Registration District: St Rollox

It's the Southern General that is on Govan Road and in the Govan District
Stobhill is away to the North of the City in Springburn [ I don't know exactly what district that would come under].

Stobhill Hospital's address is Balornock Road and 1301 Govan Road is The Southern General Hospital.

Stobhill Hospital (also listed as 133 Balornock Road) - RD: Springburn

It's OK Andrew we understand that you Edinburgers don't know our city like we do yourselves
Perhaps somebody should try and gather all the major hospitals and their districts together for reference ?
