This search is hard going! The sisters were living together in the 1881, 1891 & 1901 census and gave their birth place as Glasgow. On the assumption that they would be living together in 1871 I tried to find them in Glasgow in the 1871 census by cross referencing the GROS data fields but there is no match. I extended the same search across all of Scotland but still no match.
I've also tried to find a family link to the Wilsons who they were living with in 1871. Was Henry Wilson their stepbrother ? I don't think so as I found Henry living in Glasgow in 1871 with his father Alexander & mother Jane.
Was Elizabeth Wilson their sister or stepsister? Not sure on this one. She was born McDonald and married Henry Wilson in 1874 in Glasgow. I tried searching for Robina and Agnes McDonald in 1871 but no match. I'm currently trying to locate Elizabeth in Glasgow 1871.
If the sisters were born in Glasgow they would surely be living together in 1871 as both would have been young children then. Am I missing something obvious ?
