Thanks for that folks but you have spoiled a fantasy I had of having a notorious rellie at last.I thought maybe he was" Bond, James Bond "or something! I too thought they were aliasies as the names were similiar.
Good value in that you get four marriage entries for the price of one!
Thanks for narowing down the Groom now I just have to work out which Bella she is(GGGgreat Granny Isabella McKimmie nee Moir has a about a hundred namesakes).Most of the McKimmies are usually connected too-it just finding where & who to especially as they were fond of fathering children,giving them their name then marrying somebody else!The women were prone to that too although they did a fair amount of marrying too.My Great-Grandpa would be birling in his grave if he knew the half of what his ancestors got up too.He & Great-Granny had a very circumspect courtship-well chaperoned& not much more than hand holding according to family lore.
