Hi Joette and Stew,

No spanners being thrown anywhere! I was intrigued as to why no Christening was mentioned on his birth, it makes me wonder where the parents come from and give me possible new leads. This would make sense that he was possibly taken to Eastwood for it..Thanks :)

Ive got a Janet MacVicar born 1805 in Glassary Parsih , do you know your Janets Parents?

Unfortunately not yet, David. I'm out of credits on SP and a bit short of cash to buy more soon. All I know is that she married John Campbell and had a son Duncan in 1840. That sounds the right age for her but I'm not sure about the parents.
