OK - how much we betting on this? I'm not a betting person so I know nothing about "books" an' that.

How about.... :-k should we ever bump into each other, then a drink of coffee, tea, wine, beer - whatever is appropriate at the time??

Best wishes
Lesley

p.s. poor Beverley will be thinking she has walked into a Scottish den of iniquity... S'OK Beverley, we don't normally take bets on this sorta stuff!!!!

Beverley

Dont worry SP is short for scotlandspeople the web address. Besides, THIS site and SP :D it is the best possible place to find your ancestors as you can download certificates and census from it. I know nothing about parts of my family yet and you WILL get the hang of it and there is absolutley no need for embarrasement on this site so post away, no one will judge !! and we look forward to more of your questions especially if they end in a result as quickly as this one.

Very best of luck

Tracey
Please sleep well tonight as i know when something like this happens your head races all night  :!:

Hi Beverley
Do you lot have a free pass to SP?
The lot of you are forgetting I KNOW NOTHING!
Tracey was wondering if because I had looked up George in 1880, if I was able to access the information on the Scotlands People web site for free. The answer, sadly, is no! But I was curious enough about that Geroge to spend credits looking him up to see if I could learn any more about his family - info which might help you out, from the birth entry.

Best wishes
Lesley

Go to the main Forum page at index.php

At the top of the forum, beneath the Memberlist and Usergroup buttons, there should be a blue-coloured-text link to your Private Messages.

All the best,
