Can't read place of birth

Hi,

I'm can't read the place of birth in Scotland for Mrs. Isaac Hodgkins. Anybody have any ideas?
I'm uploading the document to the gallery.

Hi Nadine,

Try using a tif file for documents and jpeg for photos.

OK, Ancestry has it transcribed as "Cowis", I googled it and it gave me "Cowie". Wasn't this in Aberdeenshire?
The Canadian census and death records for this WHOLE family lists their births only as Scotland and this is the only one to say what town! This would be truly amazing to finally know where they were from.

Cowie, Stirlingshire has to be it! Her parents were married in St Ninians. That's the only document I've found. Now I've found their children.
After 20 years of searching, I've found them!! Can you see me dancing round my laptop?

Even better news - Cowie, Stirlingshire is in St Ninians parish, just over a mile east-ish of Bannockburn.
