Deciphering help please

I have just uploaded to the Gallery (I hope!) an image of a marriage certificate. The one I'm interested in is the first one (Archibald McEwan & Janet Glover) but it doesn't really matter as what I'm trying to work out is the minister's name & he married the next couple as well

I looks to me like George Clazy but that seems unlikely - anyone have any ideas (or even know

Hi Muriel,

His 1896 death certificate confirms that he was indeed George Clazy. He is described there as a Free Church Minister.

Hi Muriel:

Went to SP and checked for Clazy/Cluzy. Only Clazy came up.

11 births 1855- 2006 - 5 for George
4 Marriages 1855-1932 - 2 for George
29 deaths 1855 - 2006 - 6 for George

- never was much good at lateral thinking

He married quite a number of my rellies, so it's nice to have the right name.
