Hello.
I have just uploaded the death certificate for a John McIntosh, died Dundee, 1863. I can read most of it, but am having trouble with some parts.
In the first column, I can see "John McIntosh Weaver married to Barbara something", but I can't read her surname.
In the second column, the only part of the address that I can read is the bit that says, "Dundee."
I can't read the medic's name in the sixth column and that's not wildly important, but, in the seventh column, I can't make out what is in the second line, beneath the name Barbara McIntosh. I think it shows that his widow signed the document with "her X". I can't make any sense of the next bit. Can anyone suggest what that whole line says, please?
Finally, is Peter Keith "Assistant Registrar"? I can read the "registrar" bit, but not the squiggle preceding it (same in seventh and eighth columns).
I'll greatly appreciate any help with this one. Thanks.

Hi Morgano,
I read the certificate as follows.
The assistant registrar has signed his name as witness to her having been the person who made the X-mark. The final mark in the last column will be either the registrar or the examiner showing his satisfaction having examined the certificate.
All the best,
AndrewP

Hi again Morgano,
On looking for a death for Barbara McIntosh in Dundee (1863 to 1900) - a few guesses in there, you will find three results. One of them gives one of her other surnames as Milne. On taking a peek at the certificate, the address given has to be the best clue you need.
All the best,
AndrewP
