i am still having problems finding david scoulars birth about 1811 in whitburn . his parents on his death certificate were James scoular & margaret hamilton i haven't managed to find anything about them either .the different spellings of scoular doesn't help either.

I have only just joined this forum. I am descended from James Scoular and Margaret Hamilton and their son, David, who was born at Bathgate 1808. Hope this helps those asking.
