janet wood parents

hi
looking for janet woods birth, her parents were james wood & janet dont know her maiden name .i got her parents name from her death certificate in 1899 . she was married to joseph clarkson in 1841 in carnwath lanarkshire .

Hi Jerry

If you follow her through the census years, probably best from 1851 onwards, she will give her age and her birth place which should give you some clues. Have you found her in any of the census years?
