Hi and festive greetings all at TS,
Can any kind soul have a look at the following birth and confirm that Margaret Thomson's parents are William and Isabella McFarlane please. If so i would be interested in what the address for the birth is in Perth.
Many thanks,
Ailsa

Sorry I don't have any credits to look at the records but a rough idea of a year might help anybody who's feeling generous.

Re: Help please
The IGI seem to have the Parish Record which would confirm those details:
All the other Margaret Thompsons born that year in Perth have a different middle name.MARGARET CHRISTIE THOMSON Female
Birth: 19 JUL 1858 Perth, Perth, Scotland
Father: WILLIAM THOMSON Mother: ISABELLA MC FARLANE
Extracted birth or christening record for the locality listed in the record

And I don't think that it's Christie, but Christal.

Re: Help please
Thanks for that mb - funnily enough i was looking at freecen 1841 today at the McFarlanes in Perth and there are a few in Meal Vennel but not the ones i wanted - However that street seems to run into South Street so there may be a connection there.
They next turn up back in Partick on the 1861 census with a son William age 1 and her brother James (my gt grandfather) . I wonder how they travelled in these days as even now Partick to Perth is a fair jaunt!
Thanks again!
