Hello,
I've uploaded the MC for William & Joan. He was a widower and she a widow when they married in 1912. That is all I can read from the MC.

Hopefully someone else will come up with something positive but this is definitely an image that requires a contact form and you'll be sent a photocopy.

Could William Crawford Anderson's father be a Seaman?
His mother's name: Ellen?

best wishes

Hi Dennis
I think the Registrars name may be Archer, looking at another effort of his that I have....
..but on another page of entires he makes it look like something else entirely!
OK, found another in his fair hand- thats 2 that look like Archer now..
I'll probably live to regret this, but I'd suggest the registrar may be JWM Archer (she said tentatively...) working from other entries I have of his, on one of his better days, that's what it looks like.
best wishes
Lesley

I don't know where your interest is but a Joan Moffatt married a Mr. Henry in Leith in 1893.
