Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone was going to visit the GRO soon, and if so they would mind taking a peek at a record for me...or more like have a little search for me and take a peek if you find it!
My Granda is 91 and suffering from dementia and can't tell me anything about the family tree. I was cuirous to find out when he married.
It is likely to be between 1939 and 1941. His name is John Joseph Corr and the bride was Helen Logan. The parents for John are Henry Corr and Agnes Ms Madden, and parents for Helen are John Logan and Margaret McCormack. The would have married in Glasgow in a Catholic church, likely St Alphonsus' Chapel, but that is just a guess.
Thanks for reading!
Nina
