Please help determine cause of death.....

Post by delmarco » Wed Jan 04, 2006 5:06 pm

Hi All:
Please help determine what the second cause of death is for sweet baby James, I thought it was pneumonia, however several family members say no, I'm bringing to the experts!
Let me know what you think.

See the post in the gallery

Hi Karen hope this explains it :?

http://www.med.umich.edu/1libr/chheart/care03.htm

What causes the condition of being blue?

Children can turn blue or be blue all the time for many reasons including heart disease, lung or other breathing problems, being cold, or having seizures. Not all children who turn blue have a heart problem. The condition of being blue is known as cyanosis (sy-an-OH-sis). Children with heart disease are blue because compared to other children, a lower amount of oxygen is carried in the blood going to the body. This is known as blue or cyanotic (sy-an-OTT-ik) heart disease. Blueness or cyanosis can be present all the time with certain unrepaired heart problems such as transposition of the great arteries, hypoplastic left heart syndrome, or Tetralogy of Fallot. With Tetralogy (tet-RAL-ah-JEE) of Fallot (FAL-oh), however, children can be pink most of the time but have "blue spells." This message concerns children who are blue all the time

Hi Karen

I'm not entirely sure how the process appears to an outsider as I've always been on the Admin side of things :( .....but.....this is what happens when you upload an image. I get a notification email that someone has uploaded an image and it's awaiting approval. So I click on the link in the email and it takes me right to the gallery where I can place the magic mark in the approval box and voila....the image can then be viewed by anyone accessing the gallery....if it is first loaded into a section of the gallery veiwable by all. (I think there are areas only viewable to upper Admin but we don't use that feature....or if we do they didn't tell me about it  ) When an image is in the gallery there is a location that is designated to it. I just click on this url and then pop on over to the forum to see if someone has left a message saying they've got an image in the gallery and then I insert the location of it for them. Now here is the part I'm not sure of......some folks seem to upload images but don't make a post about them. When I approve the image I am assuming they get a confirmation email back at them telling them it's been approved and the location so that they could insert this whenever they are ready to make the post. So you can help me enormously by telling me if you got a confirmation email of the approval....and if it contained the location of the image. Does this make sense? ....or am I only making matters worse  Of course anyone can go directly to the gallery and look around at what's in there whether there is a link in a post or not. All members are designated some space where they can upload images or photos.....but mostly it's highest and best use if for viewing and transcription of difficult handwriting.

Best wishes
Jean
