Hi Joyce,I had a wee look and found the Morgans are a sept of the MacKay's.I found mention of a MacKay Coat Artifact Tartin worn in the late 18th c.The MacKay (clan ) tartin was designed by Wilson's of Bannockburn 1819.There is some reference to a Morgan of Wales though.
Hope this is of some help,
HeatherK

Joyce

Have a look at http://www.lindaclifford.com/MacKay.html and http://www.chebucto.ns.ca/Heritage/FSCN ... ackay.html (the latter has an interesting Dutch link!)
