Hello Everyone
I am seeking the death of Elizabeth Mair I have spent my money on SP and can't find her death. I have even looked under Mairs and Muir. She was still alive in 1875 when her son died. I have searched with and wthout her maiden name McClutchie/McClatchie and nothing. Can any tell where to go next or variation to look under I have tryed everything I can think off. I have looed the 1881 census but shes not there.
Many Thanks in Advance
Heather

Hi Angel
Do you know for a fact that she was still alive, when her son died in 1875?
The reason I ask, is that on a marriage cert for my grandparents, it stated that my paternal Ggrandmother was deceased, and while it listed my grandmothers parents, there was no mention of them being deceased, which led my on the wrong path for a while, till I found out that they had been dead for some years before the marriage.
Is there a possibility that she could have moved to England, Ireland? I don't know that this is of much help to you.
Regards
Sheila

Hello Heather
Could she be in England ? There are one or two Elizabeth Mair(s) on the English 1881 census (born in Scotland) and quite a few deaths on freebmd.
