Hi Thomsos,
There are 3 Hugh Barbours in Hurlford, Ayr in the 1891 census according to the Scotlands People index. Have you checked to see if any of them fit? Otherwise, it looks like Bashour to me, but there are none by that name in the whole of Scotland...

Hi thomsos

A quick look for a marriage between a Hugh Ba*r and any female Thom*son reveals only one record in Riccarton, Ayrshire. I'm betting this is the right couple.

Thanks to all, yes thats them Hugh Barbour and Agnes Thomson, married 1863 Riccarton, also found them on the 1881 census too

sorry, I can't find any connection, My Barbour connection comes from -
Agnes Thomson married Hugh Barbour 1863 Riccarton, they had 10 Children, but no Eliz Jane Barbour.

hughs parent were - John Barbour and Catherine Adam
Will keep you in mind if I do find any connection.
