Hi,

I'm using ScotlandsPeople to look up a birth. Would anyone know what Registration District I should use to use to look up a birth in Uddingston in 1875?

I have a Robert Smith born in Uddingston c.1875. If I just use Lanarkshire All Districts I get a whole load of Smiths! Might help if I can narrow it down a bit.

Probably Bothwell, but you'll have to come forward to 1878 and 1879 to find any matches.

On a quick look, this is the only 1881 match that I can see.
