i put in a search for the death of margaret la*rie, birth year 1875 on scotlands people. year range 1876 - 1955.
there were 9 records but i was unable to view any of them. all said 'no image'
would these records be classed as statutory or minor death records.
( what's the difference between the two )
thanks

I tried a ScotlandsPeople death search for Margaret La*rie, from 1876 to 1955, for birth year 1875. It produced 6 results, none of them "no image" or "minor records". All were viewable records.
Worth a try again. If that fails, then send a contact form to ScotlandsPeople.
All the best,

Hi Margaret
Have you discounted that Margaret La*rie could have died in 1875?
There is also a Margaret La*rie, birth year 1875 .... died 1875.
Remember also that D.O.B's on certificates are less reliable as the person gets older... so you may have to widen the range for birth year.
