Stuck with this one

Hi

I am really stuck with this one i cant find out any information on Thomas Liddell. His father was William Liddell and his mother was Annie Beattie, they married 04 Apr 1868

Thomas married a Rose Ann Flannigan on 03 May 1896 at St Joseph's Blantyre She was 22 and he was 23

They had a daughter in 1902. I am trying to find out birth/death details for Thomas, i can only find his marriage cert.

Any help would be welcomed

Searching for Thomas Lid*l* born c1873 +/- 3 years gives 13 results, but none in Blantyre. Assuming that was where Rose came from, where were Thomas and Rose living when their daughter was born?

A parent search on the online IGI gives the following children to William Liddell and Annie Beattie.

JANE LIDDLE - Birth: 03 MAR 1869 West Calder, Midlothian
THOMAS LIDDLE - Birth: 04 DEC 1872 Cambusnethan, Lanarkshire
ANN ALEXANDER LIDDELL - Birth: 05 NOV 1874 Dalziel, Lanarkshire

As the online IGI stops at the end of 1874 for births, there may be more children after Ann.

The 1881 census shows a few more children.

They registered her birth at Bellshill, and she was born at 11 Muir Park Rows Bellshill

Following the 1881 census informtion, this looks like William (age 11) on the online IGI.

WILLIAM BEATTIE - Birth: 12 FEB 1868 Avondale, Lanarkshire

No father listed.

Assuming they remained there, this could be him as Bellshill is under the Bothwell reference...

1930 LIDDELL THOMAS M 58 BOTHWELL /LANARK 625/01 0185 but I had no spare credits to check.

Hi Flip,

A search for the death of his widow shows one result in a nearby parish.

1947 LIDDELL ROSE ANN FLANNIGAN F 73 SHOTTS (WESTERN DISTRICT) /LANARK 655/03 0021

This is the only result for the search criteria: surname Lid*l*, forename Rose and other surname Flan*.

Andrew P Rose did die in 1947 i have her death cert,
